Bio

Tara is a Black female creator with a passion for representation and character-led stories. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Tara Nicole fell in love with animation and filmmaking at a young age. Currently, she is in development as co-director on the animated feature film PIERRE THE PIGEON-HAWK, with EPs will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson and Snoop Dogg. Previously, she was an episodic director on Disney's THE PROUD FAMILY: LOUDER AND PROUDER. As a CalArts alumnus, Tara Nicole has helped bring characters to life at studios such as Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Netflix, and Disney. She has also illustrated many children's books, including the "Baby Loves" series, "My Little Golden Book About Misty Copeland", and New York Times Best Seller "Shady Baby".
